Kamilaroi Regiment - stallion

Kamilaroi Regiment - breeding bone, movement & temperament

Regiment ridden by Liz Hayward

Kamilaroi Regiment 17hh. Registered Purebred Percheron Stallion.

(Sire: Limeheadline imp.  Dam: Twin Rivers Janie)

Sold back to Kamilaroi Stud.

Due to a change in Horse plans at Wyndyarra Estate.  We are no longer going to breed.

His foals sell for around $2000 each. We use "Reg" to cross with our mares mostly TB's developing lovely natured warmblood types. Creating wonderful allround sporting horses suitable of competing in any discipline. Reg has done Elementary/Medium level dressage large shows and displays. He is a sweet natured boy with a commanding presence.  A truly magestic fellow - featured in the book "high on Horses" by Nicole Emmanuel.  He has a wonderful mix of looks, bone, height, athleticism and most importantly temperament! Reg runs with mares and foals under natural conditions, and i train my dressage horses in the same paddock on our open grass arena.  He is a great and sensible choice when crossbreeding with TB, SB, WB and Arab mares.  Foals are eligible for registration as Percheron Warmbloods or Percheron Sport Horses.

Percherons and most of the cross breds are known for being hardy good doers with wonderful temperament, good bone and great feet.
